About Me

I'm Rebecca Morris, a dedicated road safety professional who brings passion, energy and a strategic mindset to every project. With my background in journalism and a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, I excel in news release writing, press engagement, communications strategy and social media marketing.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has been featured in various national and local media platforms, including BBC Breakfast, LBC Radio and the Jeremy Vine Show on BBC Radio 2. She has also shared her insights on Vision Zero through podcasts, webinars, conferences and events.

During the last two decades, Rebecca has collaborated with a range of industry bodies and individuals, including police forces, highway authorities, safer roads partnerships, government departments, politicians and academics.

Through her work with road crash victims, she now has a deeper understanding of the devastating impact of road crashes on families and communities, further fuelling her drive to make a difference through strategic communications and advocacy. She is committed to amplifying victims' voices in news stories and campaigns, adding the vital human element that brings real meaning and purpose.

Rebecca’s expertise extends to crafting comprehensive PR and marketing strategies that engage road users, stakeholders, and the wider community. With an extensive network of national media, road safety, policing, and highways industry contacts in the UK and worldwide, she is well-positioned to elevate your organisation’s visibility and reputation within the road safety sector.

A mum of two, Rebecca enjoys staying active through yoga and walking with her children and dog. For Rebecca, Vision Zero is a way of life, not just her career. Outside of work she is also part of a local community road safety group, which she co-formed in 2022 in her home village, in Nottinghamshire.
